I find I am a tiny ship
in motion on an endless sea,
while riding waves that rise and dip
as constant currents carry me.
Upon the tide of circumstance
I seek a sky of ceaseless blue,
searching the stars in night’s expanse,
I pray their light will guide me through.
For I am but a simple boat,
a vessel wearied, worn and weak.
Upon the journey, I shall float;
until my Craftsman makes complete.
